Renato Alarcao's bio says his time is split between teaching, editorial projects, and work for the Society of Brazilian Illustrators.
Alarco has a lovely mix of digital and traditional, rich with texture and layering. I find his use of text as texture to be done well. I enjoy the collage elements as well, and the handling of paint, as well as the moody exaggeration of forms in his editorial work.
