Christine Hawthorn'

I find Christine Hawthorn's work, at least in terms of execution and overall visual feel, to be similar to Clare Mallison's. Hawthorn also has a loose, direct-application-of-ink approach to her linework, and a similar delicate quality. The colors she lays in are bolder, however, and it lends the pieces a more graphic, flatter look, at a glance.

Since graduating from Kingston University I have continued my love of drawing through freelance illustration. I also carry out other creative work such as technical drawings for clothing and retouching. my work combines traditional drawing with modern techniques and my contemporary style is adaptable to any subject matter.(from bio)
