Very impressed with the digital manipulation skills of Lars Henkel. He has a beautifully delicate and subtle touch to his compositions and textures. I like some of the same things in his work as I like in McKean's, but he seems to have a simpler, moodier, less overloaded style. Of particular interest are the collages done with old photographs - they are simultaneously classy and modern, and very strong compositionally.
